In coordination with Dominion Virginia Power, the local Energy Alliance Program recently announced their Northern Virginia Home Energy Makeover Contest, which runs through September 21. In this contest, residents have the chance to win a home energy makeover worth up to $10,000.

The contest’s Nonprofit Challenge allows entrants to enter the name of their favorite local nonprofit to help them win a $1,500 cash donation.
