LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- A pair of pot-bellied pigs have been spotted roaming in Leesburg.

Loudoun County Animal Services are investigating whether the pigs belong to anyone.

Residents in the area of Gospond Lane and Hunts End Place in Leesburg have reported the pigs to authorities, but so far they have evaded capture.

Animal services describe the pigs as piebald in color (black and white). They are believed to be boars and have discernable tusks. One of the pigs also has a "U" shaped notch in its left ear.

The public is asked to be careful around animals they do not know and contact Animal Services at 703-777-0406.
